Yes, the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle-upon-Tyne is another of the same type. The Hellsgate Bridge in New York ( http://www.nyc-architecture.com/BRI/BRI005-HellGate.htm ), finished in 1917, is supposed to have been the one that inspired Bradfield's final design for Sydney Harbour. There's a scene in Spielberg's War of the Worlds with that bridge which gave me some nasty chills.

I'm not James Bridgewood, though. He took the photo, which you can see on the Sydney Morning Herald site. He might be a freelance professional, or one of their staff. Thanks for the comment.
